Decimation Guild Charter
Decimation is a casual raiding guild that aims to have fun progressing through PvE content while PvPing along the way. We are a mature guild and will not tolerate consistent child-like behavior.

General
Communication and Maturity
• Avoid drama in non guild groups and raids. Ninjas, slander, etc are unacceptable and serious or repeat offenders may incur demotion or guild removal. We expect that our members represent our guild in the best possible light, conducting themselves in an appropriate manner that can in no way bring disrepute to our name.
• If you have a problem or issue with a particular person, try to work it out with them in private – we do not expect to see arguments over guild chat or in public. If you cannot resolve the issue with the person directly or if it is a more ‘general’ problem of any kind bring it up with an officer. They will take your concerns and deal with them directly or move them up the ladder if appropriate. Problems are inevitable, but usually with some consideration, sacrifice and common sense things can be worked out.
• No Drama, we hate Drama. Say NO to Drama. If you cause it, you will be removed. Deal with your issues through the proper channels, see above.
• Regular Forum use and activity is encouraged, not only for general guild communications of important announcements, news and class area communications/discussion, but also for raid schedules and advance notice of raid absences.
• If you are not sure about something, no matter what it is, please ask! We would much rather have you ask a silly question beforehand, than to wipe us, gquit etc because you were unsure of something.

Decimation Ranks
• Village Idiot - Disciplinary rank that does not allow people to talk in guild chat or removing anything from the guild bank.
• Alt - Alternative toon of a member in the guild.
• Member - Member is the most basic rank of the guild and includes, casual players, friends, family and non-raiders.
• Raider - Raiders are made up of our the members of decimation who raid with us but might not be on for every raid.
• Core - A specific rank of Raider which has shown that they intend to be serious about raiding and have attendance above 75%. They also receive invite priority to raids.
• Officer - Officers are the members who run the guild with teh Asshole/GM.
• Teh Asshole - Every guild has an asshole yours just happens to be named Maivz and is an Co-GM/Officer.
• GM - First in command in the guild. Responsible for overseeing everything in the guild.

Guild Removals
• Decisions on permanent /gkicks from the guild will be determined by officer vote; players who are gkicked will be Black Listed. Anyone who has been blacklisted will not have the option to be re-invited. However we understand people can disagree at times and therefore we will give players a warning before we put you into consideration for a /gkick or the blacklist.
• If for some reason you wish to leave the guild, please discuss this with an officer so they are aware. We realize that players may decide that a raiding guild may not be for them but there may be something we can do to resolve your reasons for wanting to leave. If not it will ensure there will be no bad blood between the guild and you.
• Complaining about loot will not be tolerated and will likely result in a strong reprimand. Repeatedly causing issues about loot will result in a /gkick. Please realize that we will be raiding every week; it will drop again.
• /Gquitting from the guild on the spot due to arguments or any other similar type grievance is unacceptable and you should not expect a re-invite back. We expect a level of maturity from all our members and for them to use the communication processes outlined to resolve issues. Expect to be blacklisted if you leave under these circumstances.


Raid Information
General
• You must be fully prepared for all raids, ready to go with full consumables (foods, pots, elixirs, reagents), repaired, have all the required raid AddOns installed and have a firm understanding of the raid strategies and your roll in it.
• Once you have been invited to the raid you must immediately proceed to the raid meeting spot.

Raid Invites
• Raid invites begin half an hour before the raid is scheduled to begin. If you are not online 15 minutes before the raid is due to start and have not informed an officer, you should not expect a place in the raid.
• The raid will start at 8:00PM and run till 11:00PM server time.
• Raid invites are based upon rank, performance, readiness and the most efficient raid makeup.

Loot Distribution
• The Loot Master will link the item in raid chat. If you want the item simply roll after it has been linked.
• Off spec Loot will be DE’d for the first 3 weeks of new progression to use as funds for the guild’s mats and repairs. If a raider or member would like to they may trade a shard or its current AH equivalent with the guild to “purchase” the off spec item. If multiple people wish to do this they will each roll, the lowest winning.
• Mounts – 100% drop rate mounts may be rolled upon by any members in the raid. Rare mounts may be rolled upon by core raiders only.
• Bags and Satchels are open to be rolled upon by any member in the raid that has not already received that item previously.
• No one (except the Officers) should EVER be touching/looting chests until announced.

During the Raid
• It is standard practice at a certain point where if the raid success is unrecoverable, we expect everyone to die (do not try and run) as quickly as possible so we are able to get underway for the next attempt.
• Everyone should release and start running back as soon as they are able on trash. DO NOT WAIT FOR A REZ.
• Do not go AFK until a break is called (we will allow for a small break at a midpoint of the raid); however, if you MUST go AFK during the raid you must let the Raid leader or another officer know beforehand. Excessive and extended AFK's will be removed from the raid.
• After a Wipe do not go AFK, run back as quickly and buff up as we expect to pull no more than 90 sec after a wipe.
• If you DC, get back on Vent as quickly as possible and let the raid know your status.
• If you find you have to leave before the raid is finished, you must let the Raid or another officer know as soon as possible so they can arrange for a replacement. If you know from the start that you will not be able to complete the entire raid, you must indicate this before raid invites begin.
• We all play to have fun, but we also play to succeed and overcome challenges. We ask that during raid bosses an appropriate level of quiet is maintained in Vent so instructions from Raid Leadership can be heard. Anyone causing excessive disruption either in raid chat or in vent will be removed from the raid.


PvP
General
• We will be looking forward to competing in rated battle grounds come Cataclysm as a guild. If you enjoy PvPing make sure to let us know you're interested in rated battle grounds.
